At Storyrunner, we are now expanding our focus to include video podcasts. These podcasts offer scientists a dynamic platform to share their research, reach wider audiences, and engage viewers more personally than traditional publications. Video podcasts make complex ideas more accessible, spark discussions, and highlight the human side of scientific work, making research both informative and compelling.

We have developed Dox Vox, a budget-friendly format for research videos. In this approach, researchers write their own script—with guidance from our trainer—and provide their own visual materials, such as photos, icons, and 2D animations. Storyrunner takes care of everything else. This format can also be combined with a workshop “How to Pitch Your Research” (by The Floor is Yours). 

Storyrunner offers two distinct approaches for your video.

"The first is the presentation style, a fully scripted format where infographics and text are smoothly integrated, resulting in a compelling narrative.

The second is the reportage style, where we work from a loose outline and use fewer animations. This approach often feels more spontaneous and authentic, capturing a natural flow and real-life atmosphere.
